Gettysburg. April 10, 2010. This is the first 3rd Battalion Drill of the season. Like it or not, the mother of skill is repetition. Drill can be repetitious, but eventually, you have a skilled, coordinated team of soldiers who know how to turn on a dime and effectively deploy a lot of hurt on the enemy. Conversely, without this work, a group of soldiers can look, putting it kindly, "unimpressive." We are grateful to these Battalion members who took the time to turn out and do the work. They will be rewarded knowing they have done well paying themselves,their 3rd Battalion brothers and the heroes they portray respect by eventually delivering an authentic and skilled impression on the Field of Honor.
